Ramayana - importance in modern life

End of incarnation of Ramachandra was approaching. One day Kala – The time expressed his desire to meet Rama to discuss some secret topic. King Rama agreed. However, Kala kept the demand, that if anyone disturbs the meeting, then that person should be imposed capital punishment. Rama summoned his brother Lakshmana and told Kala’s demand. While Lakshmana was guarding, Sage Durvasha came and wished his desire to meet Rama. Lakshmana told about the meeting and consequences of breaking the demand. Sage, who was known to his anger, threatened, either allow him to meet or get ready to annihilation of entire Ayodhya. It was catch twenty-two situation for Lakshmana.
