आषाढ शुद्ध पौर्णिमा उर्फ़ गुरूपौर्णिमा ... दिवस होता गुरूपौर्णिमेचा ... १२ जुलै १६६० ... "पावनखिंड - बाजीप्रभूंच्या रक्ताने पावन झालेली. जेथे बाजीप्रभूंनी देह ठेवला. जेथे त्यांनी मृत्यूला सुद्धा ओशाळवले. " आदल्या दिवशी शिवरायांनी पन्हाळ्यावरुन अद्भुतरित्या स्वतःची सुटका करून घेतली होती. तर गुरूपौर्णिमेच्या दिवशी घोड़खिंड बाजीप्रभुंच्या रक्ताने पावनखिंड बनली. अवघ्या २१ तासात ६४ किलोमीटर अंतर त्यांनी पार पाडले होते. पौर्णिमेची रात्र. चंद्रप्रकाश असूनसुद्धा पावसाळी ढगांमुळे फारसे काही दिसत नव्हते. प्रचंड पावसाचा फायदा घेत शिवराय पन्हाळ्यावरुन निसटले. सिद्दीजोहरला त्याचा पत्ता लागला. पालखी पकडली गेली. 'शिवाजी आपल्या ताब्यात आला आहे' अश्या खुशीत असलेल्या जोहरच्या भ्रमाचा भोपळा लगेच फुटला. त्याला कळून चुकले की हे राजे नसून शिवा काशिद नावाचा दुसराच कोणी तरी आहे. राजे आपल्या हातून निसटले आहेत. त्याने सिद्दी मसूद आणि फाझल खानाला शिवरायांच्या मागावर पाठवले. पाठलाग सुरु झाला ... शिवाजी राजे पालखीचा गोंडा पकडून बसले होते. बाजींचा आवाज त्यांच्या कानावर येत होता. Does Bandh really solve the problems? July 5th 2010. Call was given by opposition parties in India, especially by NDA and CPM with their allies, against price rise. They argued that the present government is anti-poor and not checked the price rise. Agreed, the prices are rising. But wasn't it rising when they were in power? What did they do at that time? Has Bharat bandh brought the prices down the next day? The answer is No. On the contrary, these bandh, which were meant to be pro poor, was done all the wrong things. The prices increased double fold on next day. The vandalism done by the parties, has to be mended with tax payers money, which could have been used for some constructive work. Some people enjoyed the extended holiday with their family, sitting at home and spending time with family.
